"MODELING THE JAPANESE MASTERS" JASH's Mission: The Japan-America Society of Houston (JASH) created the 'Modeling the Masters' lecture series to bring the wisdom, experience and efficiency to Houston, TX. The Japanese people are synonymous with productivity, practical thinking and developing ideas that create a positive, powerful impact on the world. Since the 1970's, the Japanese people developed a sincere, deliberate effort towards ecology...with a dramatic focus on recycling. It has become an integral part of their daily lives. The Japan-America Society of Houston has invited an expert from Chiba, Japan to teach us about practical and effective recycling methods. Our Upcoming Lecture: Our next lecture will be presented on Friday, July 25th at 11:30 am. The cost of the lecture also provides a luncheon. The event concludes at approximately 1:30 pm and will be held at the International Trade Building, 11110 Bellaire Blvd., in Houston, TX. The Luncheon: Our luncheon is hosted by Kubo's Sushi Bar and Grille; providing a three course luncheon from 12:45 pm - 1:30 pm. Our Speaker: Our guest speaker is Mr. Kohji Hayakawa, a recycling expert from Chiba, Japan. He will be speaking to our community on behalf of the city of Chiba, Japan. Mr. Hayakawa will speak to our group with the assistance of an interpreter.
