The Japan-America Society Japanese Language Speech Contest. Every year, contestants show off their skills in the Japanese language, composition and public speaking during the Houston and state-wide competitions. The audience enjoys speeches on a variety of topics by students at various stages in their language study while every contestant gets the opportunity to eventually compete in Japan! In our twenty year history, this event has grown from just a handful of participants from Houston, Texas to over 60 participants. |
